JEE mains is scheduled between September 1 to September 6 ,2020. It is a gateway to become eligible to give JEE Advanced and to get admission in NITs, IIITs. Around 10 million students give JEE Mains every year. The total marks in JEE mains 2019 is 360 marks, but from 2020, the total marks are 300. There are total 75 questions with 3 sections each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Each correct answer gives you 4 marks, while for each incorrect answer 1 mark is deducted from your score. So, to get 99 percentile, it is important that you solve maximum number of questions as you can. Also, from the questions you solve try that your maximum answers are correct and very less are incorrect. If you follow this strategy and you get around 220 marks in JEE Mains, you will get 99.75 percentile in JEE and CRL is also very good, making you eligible to take JEE Advanced and you can also take admission in top branches in top NITs.
