Dear Aspirant,
Most of the students face this difficulty in coping up with both JEE and Board preparation in their class 12th. As per my own experience I feel that as long as a student focuses more on concept building and practicing JEE level questions side by side, he/she won't face much difficulty in preparation for board exams. Board exams are more theoretical and writing practice needs to developed to ace it. I would suggest you to first finish your JEE preparation and then come to Board exam preparation. If you can do side by side that's even better, but remember the importance of JEE exam. Only through this exam you can get into premium engineering colleges of the country. Do smart work rather than hard work. NCERT's are most important to ace board exams, so do them properly.

Dear student,

This is a genuine query every serious JEE students face but this problem can be tackled if one is having proper strategy.

Below I am enlisting some tips for this make sure to go through it.

  • Understanding the difference between these two different exam JEE and Board. Class 12th exam is descriptive while JEE MAIN is objective based, Class 12th has syllabus of 12th only while JEE has syllabus of both 11th and 12th. So before starting preparation you must know what certain exam will ask you and according to that you have to proceed.
  • Create a timetable, but make sure that in excitement of study initially you created too tough routine that after following it for two days you feel like it is a burden. Study little less but study daily.
  • Have a deep analysis of previous year papers, sample papers, mock test papers of both the exams so that you get to know real pattern and toughness of the exam.
  • Practice regularly, this is the key for cracking any exam and not only JEE. You have do frequent practices for JEE MAIN, though Board exam does not require that much practice.
  • Do some Yoga and excersises to keep yourself positive and stress free.
