I am a student who lived in Delhi since birth and my hometown is UP. If I obtain all the domiciles of UP, can I give NEET entrance exam from both the state quotas? Is it legal or not because I read on some websites that some organization are taking some legal actions against it.

Prayas, you can appear claim State Quota for 2 States if you are eligible for their States domicile. So there is nothing illegal in it. But if you just been born in UP, you cannot hold their domicile. You have to complete your 10th and 12th in UP to be eligible for their State Domicile. And even if you have lived outside UP, but completed 10th and 12th in UP, then you have to submit the UP domicile certificate to be eligible for UP NEET State Counselling. You can check the complete information at: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/up-mbbs-admission . But with Delhi, by the virtue of completing all your education in Delhi, you are eligible for Delhi State Counsellig. But as you did mention, if you have legal and valid proofs to claim UP Domicile, then you can absolutely take part in both Delhi and UP State Counsellings.

Thanks for answering. I wasn't born in UP, it's like my parents were born there. But I was born in Delhi and completed my studies here. I know I am eligible for Delhi counselling but if I want to have UP counselling too, can a UP domicile be formed (such as some papers or documents) ?

My parents completed their education from there and my family also lives there. We also own property in UP. The only thing is that I was born in Delhi and graduated from here. And I want to give NEET UG from both UP and Delhi state quotas. Can my domicile documents be formed as I read on a website atleast 1 year back that someone has formed the documents for UP domicile so that their ward can give NEET UG from both states. Please answer, I am really confused.

Prayas If you look at the UP NEET domicile criteria at: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/up-mbbs-admission, you need to be a resident of UP. Or else should have completed your 10th and 12th from UP. If this is not the case, then you should have a domicile certificate. If you can get a domicile certificate on the basis of your parent's permanent resident Status, then you are eligible for UP NEET Staet Quota.
