I am class 12 student, for btech biotechnology or btech bioinformatics in vit , after clearing viteee they will see PCM cutoff or PCB cutoff as I am PCMB student

For B.Tech Biotechnology or B.Tech Bioinformatics at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), students who have taken Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB) can apply. For B.Tech Biotechnology and B.Tech Bioinformatics at VIT , you can qualify through either PCB or PCM , depending on your stream and exam performance. Since you are a PCMB student, VIT will consider the best of your PCB or PCM cutoff after you clear VITEEE .

• For B.Tech Biotechnology , you can apply even if you have studied Biology instead of Mathematics .
  
  
• For B.Tech Bioinformatics , some campuses may prefer PCM scores, but PCB is also accepted in most cases.
  
  
• Admission will depend on your VITEEE rank and the cutoff for that year.
  
  
• After clearing VITEEE, you will have to attend the counseling session , where the final seat allocation will be based on your score and availability of seats in the preferred branch and campus.
