I am currently a 12th standard student and I have Re in one subject in 11th standard. Does that affect me while taking the NDA exam???

Dear aspirant !

Hope you are fine ! If you have re in one subject in class 11 then it will not affect your NDA exam in any way however not only nda but in any competitive exam ,your marks doesn't matter it is the hardwork which matters more than marks ,there are many ias ,ips which were poor in studies but they acheive their goals by their hard-work .

Hi aspirant,

No it wont affect you by any means. For appearing in NDA examination certain basic educational criteria are need to fulfilled which are as follows:

NDA Wings

Qualifying Exam details

Indian Army

Passed 12th standard from State Education Board or a University

Indian Air Force and Naval

Passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics from State Education Board or a University


Other than educational criterion, some other criteria are also need to be fulfilled which includes:

  • Nationality

  • NDA age limit

  • Marital Status

  • Physical standard
