I am pursuing B.E mechanical and i want to do Msc in Astronomy and Astrophysics but i have a confusion regarding Gate examination as i come to know that IIST accept Gate from physics,EC,ECE and engineering science. so won't they accept my appilcation as I would be giving Gate through Mechanical?

I would like to inform you that IIEST Shibpur only accepts Gate scores from Physics, ECE,EEE, and engineering science so it will be impossible to get a seat for MS in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Better try for various other IIT's as they have ample opportunities. Hope this helps. Thank you.
