MBA/PGDM Admissions OPEN
Hello,
In your application for CAT (Common Admission Test), if you're pursuing an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) program where your B.Tech is 3.5 years and M.Tech is 1.5 years, you should provide the following information carefully:
1. Educational Qualification Section:
- Degree: When asked to select your qualification, you can select "Dual Degree" or "Integrated Program" if available. If not, you might have to choose "Graduation" and "Post-Graduation" separately.
- Duration: Mention the correct duration of your B.Tech and M.Tech. Usually, you'll mention the total duration of the program (5 years) in the B.Tech or equivalent section if it's integrated. Ensure that this aligns with what is mentioned on your academic records.
- Percentage/CGPA: Include your CGPA or percentage as applicable for your B.Tech and M.Tech. If you’re still pursuing the degree, mention the latest available CGPA/percentage.
- Year of Passing: If you're still studying, mention the expected year of completion.
2. Academic Details:
- Start and End Dates: Clearly state when you started your program and the expected date of completion.
- Course Details: Mention the program name as "Integrated Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech)" or however it is officially named at your institution.
3. Work Experience:
- If you have any work experience, be sure to enter it. However, if your program is full-time, you may not have any relevant work experience to mention.
4. Other Sections:
- Fill in other sections (like personal details, test center preferences, etc.) as per your situation.
If the CAT application has specific instructions for integrated or dual degree programs, follow those. Otherwise, represent your educational qualifications as clearly as possible, ensuring that the information is accurate and reflects your unique degree structure. If needed, you can explain your program during the Personal Interview stage if you clear the CAT exam.
Hope it helps !
