Your CAT application is not likely to be rejected just because of the wrong gender mentioned in your OBC-NCL certificate.
If all other details such as your name, category, caste, and address are correct, you will still be considered under the OBC-NCL category.
However, you should get the certificate corrected from the issuing authority as soon as possible and carry both the old and corrected certificates during the verification or interview process.
Also, keep a short written explanation or proof ready in case they ask about the mistake.

Here are some top MBA colleges in India with fees under Rs. 2 lakh and their exam/cutoff details:
SIMSREE, Mumbai – Fee around Rs. 1.3–1.4 lakh for 2 years. Accepts CAT, CMAT, MAH-CET, MAT, ATMA. Cutoff is very high, usually 99+ percentile in CAT/CMAT.
PUMBA (Dept. of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University) – Fee around Rs. 1.2–1.3 lakh. Accepts CAT, CMAT, MAH-CET, ATMA. Cutoff approx. 75+ percentile in CAT, 90–95+ percentile in CMAT, high scores in MAH-CET.
TISS, Mumbai (MA HRM & other management-related programmes) – Fee around Rs. 1.7–1.9 lakh. Accepts CAT for some courses. Qualifying cutoff is around 60–70 percentile, but final selection cutoffs are higher.
These are the main government institutes where the full MBA/PG programme fee is within Rs. 2 lakh. Cutoffs vary slightly each year and by category, but SIMSREE and PUMBA generally need high scores, while TISS has its own process along with CAT shortlisting.

I dont think you will get govt bds college because you got 344 marks in neet which puts you in borderline especially for most demanding state like delhi.
Some students got admission with 321 marks with ST category in govt college of Gujarat so its vary from state to state.you can try in mop up rounds.

Common admission test (CAT) is conducted once a year and is a gateway to 21 IIMs and 1000 + other top institutions. It's is expected that 2025 CAT exam will be administered by IIM Kozhikode. The official notice for CAT 2025 will be released in July 2025. Registration for the CAT 2025 is expected to start in August 2025 and exam will be conducted by the end of November 2025.
