My name on Xth marksheet and Aadhar Card is different, but I want to continue the name as per aadhar card. What should I fill in CAT form.

If the name on your X Marksheet and Aadhar are different but you want to continue with the aadhar name,the problem is that in CAT form and later admission verification,your 10th Marksheet is treated as the main proof of name for academics.If you fill the form with the aadhar name without legal proof of change,it can lead to delays and even rejection .The safest way is to legally change your Marksheet name to match your aadhar before filling the CAT form.If you don't have enough time for that,Fill the CAT form with your marksheet name and later update your documents so everything matches the aadhar name you want.

I'm the student who secured 30150 engineering rank in cet and i belong to the hk region and obc (cat 1) can i get govt seat in cse and how much fees i must spend for the coarse

If you have secured an engineering rank of 30,150 in CET, belong to the HK region, and are in OBC (Category 1), your chances of getting a government seat in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) depend on the cutoff trends of that year and the state counseling process.

Usually, CSE in government colleges is highly competitive, and ranks below 20,000 have better chances.

However, your reserved category (OBC Cat 1) and regional quota (HK region) improve your chances significantly.

It’s possible to get a government seat in CSE, especially in less popular government colleges or campuses with lower cutoffs.

Fees for government colleges are generally affordable, ranging roughly from 30,000 to 1,20,000 per year depending on the college and state subsidies.

Candidats must be 12 passed and meet all the guidelines set by the University the application process usually starts in January or February and you can apply online through CUSAT website.

The exam consists of MCQS and you will get shortlisted according to your rank in CAT and number of seats vacant.

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, if your caste is listed under Central OBC and you come under the category of Non-Creamy Layer, then you shall be eligible for the OBC-NCL reservation in the CAT exam and IIM admissions, irrespective of its being categorized as OEC in Kerala. Remember to get a valid OBC-NCL certificate obtained as per the format prescribed by the Government of India.

I belong to OEC category.Even if there is state reservation,there is no such option as OEC in CAT EXAM. Is there any chance to get reservation for OEC category

Hello!

Basically in the CAT exam, reservation is only given for categories like General, OBC NCL, SC, ST. The OEC category is a only recognised by state not by central.If your OEC community is also listed under the Central OBC-NCL category then you can get reservation by applying under OBC-NCL with a valid certificate. But if your community is not in the central list you will have to apply as a General category candidate even if your state gives you reservation benefits under OEC.So if your category is not mentioned in the CAT exam then you will not get any benefits and will be treated same as general category students.

CAT exam score is valid FOR hOW MANY YEARS

CAT exam score is valid for 1 year only. You can use the score for admission in the academic year following the exam.
