Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode admissions are provided to PGP and Ph.D programmes. IIML admissions are offered in the stream of Management. IIM Kozhikode admission to the Ph.D programme is done based on the GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/JRF(NET)/IIMB Test examination scores.

How can I apply for IIM Kozhikode admission?

The IIM Kozhikode application process varies for PGP and Ph.D programmes.

IIM Kozhikode Registrations 2025

Course	IIM Kozhikode Application Process
PGP	Register for the CAT examination and select IIM Kozhikode MBA programme while registering. Pay the CAT application fees of Rs 2,500 (Rs 1,250 for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Qualifying candidates will receive an email from the IIMK for registration.
Ph.D	Candidates must appear for GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/UGC-CSIR NET/IIMB Test. Candidates wishing to appear for IIMB Test need to pay a test fee of Rs 1,000. The application fees for specialisation in one area is Rs 1,000, while for two areas is Rs 1,500.

IIM Kozhikode admission to its PG programme is done in the course of MBA and its specialisations in the field of Management, Economics, Humanities and Finance. The table given below shows the IIM Kozhikode admission criteria for MBA programmes.

Students have to appear and qualify the CAT examination.
IIM Kozhikode will declare the CAT cutoff percentage.

Further, students have to appear for an Written Ability Test and Personal Interview.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the student's performance in the WAT and PI.

IIM Kozhikode Ph.D Admission Process 2025

Candidates must qualify the GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF/IIMB Test to be eligible for IIITA Doctorate admissions.
Eligible candidates have to apply on the official website of the institute.
Based on their entrance score candidates are called for the area-specific test and personal interview.
Students applying for Economics specialisation should clear a IIMK written test along with the interview.
Students will be selected on the basis of their past academic performance, written test and personal interview performance conducted by the Institute.
Candidates selected need to deposit course fees and submit the documents to confirm their admission.

IIM Kozhikode CAT Result 2024

On December 19, 2024, IIM Calcutta posted the CAT 2024 results online at iimcat.ac.in. The IIM CAT 2024 score card is available to students who have a working CAT login ID and password. According to the CAT result release, 14 students reached the 100 percentile, 29 students reached the 99.99 percentile, and 30 students reached the 99.98 percentile.

Documents Required for IIM Kozhikode Admissions

The documents mentioned below are to be submitted as applicable to the candidates application.

10th and 12th marksheets.
Entrance exam scorecard (CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF(NET)).
Birth certificate.
ID proof.
Statement of Purpose.

Passport size photographs.
Migration/Transfer certificate.

Note: Please note that Kozhikode, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi will be the locations for IIMK's Analytical Writing Tests and Personal Interviews. Candidates must select two cities on the CAT application form for both AWT and PI.

Teachers at IIMK for the MBA program were well qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching offered at our college was good. The professors at the college were supportive and helpful to the students. Both permanent and guest faculty were available at the college. The course curriculum of the college was relevant. Semester exams at the college were not that tough to pass.

What is the main difference between IIMA and IIMK?

Hello,

The main differences between IIMA and IIMK are as follows-

IIMA was established in 1961, while IIMK was in 1996
IIMA has been accorded NIRF Ranking 1 while IIMK with NIRF Ranking of 4
The course fee structure in IIMK was Rs 20.50 Lakhs while that of in IIMA it's Rs 23 Lakhs for a duration of two years for MBA program. the eligibility criteria for the same has been passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized board with 50% aggregate in case of IIMK, and for IIMA there is requirement of 60% aggregate at graduation level,
When it comes to the placements, in case of IIMK the highest salary has been 46.88 Lakhs while for IIMA it has been 82 Lakhs,

How good is IIM Kozhikode's 2 years PGP finance course as compared to traditional PGP course in terms of placements? Placement report not available for this particular course at IIM Kozhikode's site. Also which is better PGP Finance from Kozhikode or PGP from IIM Shillong?

PGP Finance is a much newer 2 Year Management Programme at IIMK. Incase you are interested in pursuing an MBA with Specialization in Finance, you may opt for this course.
