Course	IIM Visakhapatnam Application Process
PGP	Pay the CAT examination registration fees of Rs 2,500 (Rs 1,250 for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Apply for the PGP programme through the link provided by IIM Visakhapatnam. The details of shortlisted candidates will be released by the IIM Visakhapatnam on the official website.
PGPEx	Apply for the PGPEx programme through the application form released on the official website of IIM Visakhapatnam. Pay the application fees of Rs 1,000 (Rs 500 for NC-OBC and EWS candidates, no fees for SC/ST/PwD and Women candidates) and submit the application form. Selected candidates will be called for an interview process.
eMBA	Candidates can apply for IIM Visakhapatnam eMBA admissions through the application form released on the official website. Candidates are exempted from EMAT examination if they have appeared for CAT/GRE/GMAT examination. Pay the application fees of Rs 1,000.
Ph.D	Candidates must apply through the application form released on the official website of IIM Visakhapatnam. Upload the documents required and pay the application fees of Rs 500 (SC/ST/PwD/EWS/NC-OBS/Women/Transgender candidates are exempted from paying fees application fees).

IIM Vizag MBA Admission Process 2025

Students have to appear and qualify the CAT examination.
IIM Visakhapatnam will declare the CAT cutoff percentage.
Students who meet the IIM Visakhapatnam admission criteria can fill out the application form on the official website of the institute.
Further, on the basis of their CAT percentile students are called to appear for a Personal Interview.
Candidates will be shortlisted for IIM Visakhapatnam admissions based on the student's performance in the PI.
Candidates are allocated the seats 25% based on their CAT percentile, 48% based on their PI and 48% based on their work experience, the rest is past academic performance.

IIM Vizag EMBA Admission Process

Students must meet the IIM Visakhapatnam eligibility criteria for the EMBA course.
Appear and qualify for the EMAT exam.
Students who may have appeared for CAT/GRE/GMAT and have a valid test score can be exempted from appearing in EMAT.
IIM Vizag admission to the EMBA programme is based on a composite score of performance in the EMAT and Personal Interview.
The final composite score for IIM Visakhapatnam EMBA admission process will be created based on a 47.5% weight to EMAT score, 47.5% weight to PI, and 5% will be awarded to Female and Transgender applicants for the institute’s commitment towards Gender diversity.

Teaching quality is very good, faculty is very close to explaining anything and they have helped in clarifying the doughts whenever the students missed the classes, course is good. whenever we have to do the job in IT industry, it's useful during 2 years, if teaching is related to the industry it's more useful whenever we got a job in IT industry. semester exams are run smoothly, and the pass percentage is 85.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that all the IIMs only accept CAT score. APICET score or any other entrance exam is not accepted by any of the IIMs. You need to clear the CAT cutoffs to get admission into any of the IIM. I hope you found this answer helpful. Admission in IIMs are dependent upon different criteria while the most important and the thing which carries the most weightage is the CAT scores, For admission in Different IIMs there are different cutoffs while some go upto 99-100 percentile others go up to 80-85 also, it depends on caste and category aswell, other than that in top IIMs you will be able to get admission on the basis of GD scores, PI scores, experience scores, 10th, 12th and graduate percentages etc.

I am a CAT aspirant & have appeared for CAT, XAT,& SNAP & scored 90%ile. With acads 10th-7.4CGPA, 12th-82% & in graduation(2018)-64% with no work experience due to family problem. Would I able to secure a seat in good college? I have been shortlisted for TAPMI, FORE, IIMV for round one till now.

its true that iims and some of other top ranked institute shortlisted candidates as per their academic record and cat or any other management aptitude test score. see right now which of institute name you have mentioned is also comes under tier 1 college. now you need to focus on your presentation skills, communication approach to get shortlisted in final rounds. so keep calm and focus on your goal, I think you will surely crack it.
