Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you can get a seat in M.Sc. Biotechnology through TG PGECET even though your B.Sc. Biotechnology background is valid. With the 14th rank, you have great chance of getting M.Sc. Biotechnology admission in top universities or colleges in Telangana. Attend the counselling process and have your documents ready.

Hello Paavani

As you have 14th rank in TG PGECET in Biotechnology and your background is BSc in Biotechnology, you can certainly get a seat in MSc in Biotechnology through TG PGECET.

The eligibility criteria of doing MSc in Biotechnology is that you should have a BSc degree in Biotechnology. As you have that, you can get a seat.

Yes Paavani, with a rank of 14 in TG PGECET Biotechnology and a BSc Biotechnology background, you are eligible for admission into MSc Biotechnology programs through TG PGECET in Telangana.

Eligibility Confirmation

TG PGECET is conducted for M.E, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, and Pharm.D (PB) programs, but some affiliated universities also offer MSc programs, especially in applied sciences like Biotechnology.

Your BSc in Biotechnology qualifies you for PGECET-based MSc admissions, provided the university recognizes the course under its PGECET umbrella.

A rank of 14 is excellent and places you in a strong position for top colleges during counselling.

You’ll likely be eligible for first-round seat allotment in reputed institutions.
