It is difficult to say what will be your rank in 83.1 percentile. As percentile is given according to session.Total 8 session in which 1st phase JEE mains exam is conducted.Your score reflect that 83.1% candidate in your session score eqaul to or less than your raw score.Wait till you get your raw score.Your percentile seems good in your session.

You can ask if you have any other queries.

GOOD LUCK!

Hey raushan!

The best way to calculate the rank is using the below formula.

Rank = total no of students--percentile×0.01×number of students

The minimum percentage qualification for nit for general category is 75%

And sc/st category is 65%

Wish you all the best
