It all depend on how much you need to qualify GATE. If you really need some thing you will get it. It doesn't matter these 4 years of Gap.All you need to study for 5 months with full dedication.

It is not hard work but the smart work will get you there. It is 15 marks of Aptitude and 15 marks of Maths, that you can easily get. Join a tutor a small batch of coaching so that you can get your doubts solved.

Yes youvare eligible irrespective of employment history..

You must have appeared for GATE and have valid score and also must have completed graduation in Bsc/msc/BTech/BE with Minimum 50%aggregate marks From recognised University.

Nonage limit as well for GATE exam.

Based on cutoff score syou can get admission to IIT and NIT.

For further studies you need to complete post graduate Mtech first and then you can procees.

For PSU recruitment you shall require GaTE scores as welland eligibility will differ for all PSU. However in your case you shall be eligible for most of them.

Thank you for your suggestion. Really helpful . But I am worried about the gap, and due to this I am unable to concentrate properly for gate preparation. I really have great ambition to do Mtech and phd further as whether if not possible I may not be eligible for placements or not.
