Law programs are basically of two types one is integrated law course such as BA-LLB, BCom-LLB, BCA-LLB, BBA-LLB to name a few, you can pursue this courses after completion of 12th standard from a recognized board securing 45% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, there are various entrance test conducted for this such as CLAT/AILET/BLAT/SET/LFAT to name a few, admission can also be based on academic merit, on the other hand there is LLB for which eligibility criteria is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university securing 45%-50% depending upon the norms of the University, admission can be based on merit of the qualifying examination, or done through entrance test such as DU LLB, BHU UET, LAT to name a few, so to answer your question law is one such discipline where there is no restrictions of belonging to specific stream or subject combinations for that matter whether it's LLB or integrated law course.
