• Defence personnel killed/disabled in action
• Those who died in peace time with death attributable to military service
• Those disabled in peace time during military service
• Recipients of Gallantry awards

But this year, DU the standing committee has decided to widen the ambit for kids of defence personnel and thus has decided to update the ctaegory of children/widows of armed forces personnel from this year by including 2 more segments:

• Retired
• Serving defence personnel

So, according to 5% quota or concession these are the colleges you are likely to get admission:

• Aryabhatta College
