The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is the authority that provides the certification to CAs. The insitute is recognized outside India as well in countries like Austraila ,England,UAE,Cannada etc. So you can sure work abroad with a CA certification from India. But you can work only in those companies where Indian operations are involved. Otherwise ,you will have to do a seperate local course as per the requirements of the company you wish to work for or what is recognized in that particular country,for example like how you need to do the CPA course (Certified Public Accountants ) in order to get the license to practice in US. The ICAI has tie ups with various countries so you can search about that ,see if that is helpful and proceed that way for a start. Another way is to start working in some Indian company and get a transfer later which is much easier than going directly and starting up on your own . So mostly if you wish to go abroad and practice , your CA qualification should be backed by an additional degree as per the requirements of the country you wish to go to.Hence do a thorough research and plan accordingly.
