You have got 53 % in 12th  but what is your aggregate in PCB?

Actually,

your overall % obtained by you in  class 12th is not considered for Neet eligibility criteria , only your aggregate % in PCB is taken in account for considering your eligibility as :-

Eligibility criteria says that to be eligible for neet, you should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

• at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  Recommended

• at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

• at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

So being from sc , if you meet this percentage requirement of at least 40 % in PCB as per your category then  you are eligible for Neet examination and after qualifying neet you can get admission in medical colleges as well, don't worry you won't face any problem due to 12th marks .

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.
