Hi there.

As you have mentioned that you are in the first year of your B.Sc course your qualifying code should be Code 5.

CODE 5:

Candidates who studying in the first year of the three years’ degree course of a recognized University with PCB (that includes practical tests in the given subjects) provided the examination is a University Examination. The candidate also passed their earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course.

Hope this helps.

Hello Priyanka
You are in the first year of your B.Sc so you will have to select Code 5 as your qualifying examination code in the NEET application form.
According to the information given for Code 5, candidate should be in the first year of the three years’ degree course of a recognised University  with  Physics,  Chemistry  and  Biology/Bio-technology including practical tests in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed the earlier qualifying  examination  with  Physics,  Chemistry,  Biology/  Bio-technology with English at a level not less than a core course.
This means that if your first year B.Sc includes Physics, Chemistry and Biology/biolotechnology as subjects including practicals, then your qualifying marks will be the marks you secure in the first year final exam. Also, you should have previously cleared your Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects from a regular board.
So, if you are studying in first year and are studying each of  the above mentioned subjects, Code 5 will be applicable.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck!
