In between BMSCE-CS and PESIT-IT,PES-U being a private university offers the best in it.Almost 50% of its 10,000 students are placed in good companies.Last year Cognizant hired almost 2500 students from PES-U and Tech Mahindra also hired 250 students.

The highest salary offered here is 30lakhs.

The average package is 10-12 lakhs.

Now if we talk about BMS college of Engineering:

Here is a list of comapnies which offers pretty impressive package at BMSCE:

• Nutanix (18 lpa)
• Directri (15 lpa)
• Moon frog (15 lpa)
• Walmart labs (13 lpa)
• Amazon (14 lpa)
• Sling media (11 lpa)
• Microsoft (8-9 lpa)
• Oracle (9-10 lpa)

So dont worry about  the packages,but worry about your knowledge in the domain.

Choose wisely and focus more on your branch rather than focussing on placements.

If you have knowledge,you will have placements.

But, if you start comparing CS of BMSE with IT of PES-U,then my honest suggestion to you is that,you can go for computer science engineering at BMSCE-main campus.

Information technology at PES-U will be the last option,once you are not getting CS at any reputed college of bangalore like RVCE ,.....etc.

If you will see the placement records of both these colleges,Bms-cs can be a better option than Pes-it.

hello Nischal, BMSCE is better in terms of plcaments as well as well overall activity based learning.

You can definitely go for it over pesit main campus. That said, placements might vary based in other market factors as well and thus shouldn't be the sole determinant.
