Hello,
Yes, if you already have the SNQ quota, it will continue in the next rounds also.
So, if you get PES RR CS (AI/ML) in the next round, it will also be allotted under the SNQ quota.
You don’t need to apply for SNQ again, it remains the same for all rounds.
Hope it helps!
Hey Param:)
Thanks for reaching out!
In KCET counselling, the SNQ quota seats are fixed separately for every college and branch, and they don't automatically transfer if you upgrade. Right now, you have BMSCE CSE under SNQ, but if you try for PES RR (AI/ML) in the next round, you will get the SNQ benefit there, only if that branch has SNQ seats left and your rank is high enough to secure one. Otherwise, even if you get the seat, it maybe alloted under regular quota and you won't get the tution fee waiver . That's why it's important to select choice-2 while trying for an update, so that your BMSCE SNQ seat remains safe if you don't get the new SNQ seat at PES RR. This way you won't lose the benefit you already hold.
Hope this helps!
With a KCET rank of 1,62,000, SC category, Clause A, SNQ quota, and an annual income of 75,000, your chances of getting into BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) are very slim, especially for top branches like CSE, ECE, or IT.
BMSCE is one of the most sought-after colleges in Karnataka, and cutoffs for SC category even under SNQ typically close much earlier—often under 30,000 to 50,000 rank, depending on the branch and quota. SNQ seats are very limited and highly competitive since they offer fee waivers.
However, you can still participate in all rounds of counselling, including extended and casual vacancy rounds, where sometimes lower-ranked candidates do get seats in lesser-demand branches or if other candidates withdraw. Keep your preferences open and add multiple colleges in your option entry to maximize chances.
Hello
I hope you are doing well. As per your mentioned query , if we compare the EC course in both BMSCE and SJCE then you should consider BMSCE because based on reputation amd resources BMSCE is the good option. Apart from this your choice is also depends on your career goals and opportunities.
I hope this helps you!

Hello there,
With a rank of 54,300 in the COMEDK 2024 exam, getting admission to BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) may be challenging. BMSCE is one of the more sought-after engineering colleges, and the cutoffs for popular branches like Computer Science or Electronics tend to be higher.
However, you still have options:
Lower Branches
: You might have a chance in less popular branches or specializations within the college, as these typically have lower cutoff ranks.
Management Quota
: BMSCE may have a management quota where admissions are based on a different set of criteria, which could allow you to secure a seat.
Check Previous Cutoffs : Review previous years' cutoff ranks for various branches at BMSCE to see if your rank falls within the acceptable range for any program.
Consider exploring other colleges as well, keeping in mind your preferred branch of study.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

1. Official BMSCE Website: The college frequently publishes cutoffs for various branches after each round of counseling. Check their admissions or notices section.
2. KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority): KEA conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) and releases cutoff ranks for various colleges and courses.

Choosing between RV College of Engineering (RVCE) for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) depends on your career goals and interests. RVCE is renowned for its strong ECE program, offering excellent faculty, infrastructure, and research opportunities. BMSCE, on the other hand, has a well-regarded CSE program with a focus on practical skills, industry connections, and placement opportunities. If you have a keen interest in electronics and communication systems, RVCE might be a better fit. However, if you are more inclined towards computer science and software development, BMSCE could be the better choice. Evaluate factors like curriculum, faculty, campus facilities, placement records, and personal interests to make the most informed decision.
