I will list down for you some points on the basis of which you can decide whether to opt out for BMSCE or NHCE for CSE.

BMSCE (autonomous)

• Fees - around 2 lakhs
• Facilities - good hostel facilities, a cafeteria, a ground, and an indoor stadium for sports, Wifi
• Highest package offered is around 45-50 LPA and average package is 8-9 LPA.
• Highly qualified teachers.
• Company visits - TCS, IBM, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Seagate, Deloitte, etc.

NHCE (Autonomous)

• Total fees - around 10 lakhs
• Company visits -  Intel, Cognizant, Infosys, Amazon, Zenken
• Highest package around 18-19 LPA, average package around 5-6 lakhs

percentage of placed students and average package offered is high for BMSCE. so, in my opinion BMSCE is better for CSE than NHCE.

Last year in round 3 of COMEDK counselling the cut off was as follows for admission to Computer Science Engineering in the preferred institutes

• R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore: 355
• BMS Institute of Technology & Management , Bangalore: 3394
• M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore: 860

Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in any of the preferred institutes. But you have chances of getting seat in the following institutes in CSE.

As per your question BMS College of engineering Bangalore doesn't have data science courses . the college only offers BE and BTECH in graduation level and MTECH , MBA and MCA in post graduation level. Under graduate this college provided 14 courses in Technical area. But Data Science course not. This college provides 4 streams, 5 popular courses (BE/B.TECH, ME/ M.
