Yes , it is mendatory to stay in the BITs Pilani's hostel. They will take the money at the time of admission.
You should not worry about that because the quality of food there is good and you will enjoy.

unlike pilani you donot have day scholars in bits hyderabad campus . you have to stay in hostel . bits hyderabad is a complete residential campus .
