According to the NIRF Overall Report 2025, the BITS Hyderabad Placement Cell has placed 2554 undergraduate and 840 postgraduate students. The placement cell offered a BITS Hyderabad median salary package of Rs. 17.70 Lakh to undergraduate and Rs. 17 Lakh to postgraduate students.

BITS Hyderabad has a Placement Cell that provides training, and placement to its students. The BITS Hyderabad Placement Cell facilitates and organises programmes. The BITS Hyderabad Placement Cell organises campus placement drives for the successful placement of students.

The companies provide their details like job profile, job location and compensation through the job announcement form share by the placement team of BITS Hyderabad.

Talking about placement BITS Pilani 40 percent of students were selected. 50 LP being the highest and 12 being the average. JP Morgan and Case is one of the companies which come on campus along with Zomato, etc. As well. There are roles, such as software developer and web developer, offered.

Hello Naaz,

No, you cannot get admission to BITS directly. The direct admission procedure is for the board toppers. Others have to take up the BITSAT Exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Passed 10+2 examination from a recognised board with at least 60% in aggregate and must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and scored an aggregate of 75% marks in PCM.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

Candidates have to fill an online application form on the official website of the institute.
Candidates have to appear for the BITSAT exam.
Cutoff is released on the basis of BITSAT examination.
Candidates meeting the cut off are eligible for further admission process.
Eligible candidates have to appear for the counselling round.
Candidates must choose the Hyderabad campus and their choice of stream for studying.
Candidates are only offered seats in a particular course after they have verified their documents and paid the admission fees.
