Is it compulsory to have maths in 12th to appear entrance exam for JNU's MA Economics with specialisation in world economy? I am doing undegrade with economics as one of my triple major subject. Is it enough?

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. The eligibility criteria for JNU's MA Economics with specialisation in world economy is as follows:

A candidate must have passed and cleared the Bachelor’s degree (with 50% marks in aggregate) in the following subjects: Economics (Honours) with Mathematics as subsidiary subject; or Mathematics (Honours) with Economics as a subsidiary subject; or Statistics (Honours) with Economics and Mathematics as subsidiary subjects.

Any other Bachelor’s degree (with 60% marks in aggregate) with Economics and Mathematics as subjects. For in absentia application: Bachelor’s degree with Economics, Mathematics and Statistics as the subject; and GRE scores.
