Hello,

Both MS and M. Tech are full time degrees in India. You have to appear GATE exam for M.tech, after M.sc or graduation. However, you can simultaneously pursue a full time M. Tech and a part time MSc in India, but cannot do it simultaneously.

Sudents should have passed a B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA to acquire M.tech in Environmental Science.

Environmental engineering has immense scope in India for professionals who are qualified in mechanical engineering, chemical, biological, thermal, radioactive and environmental engineering. It is a diverse field and requires people from diverse background.
