Company Secretary is a very diverse profession and it really depends on which specialization you work and where your interest lies.If you do not like reading then being CS and after that also yes, your life is a monotonous. CS requires you to read a lot during preparation and after that also to be updated with the compliance changes.After CS you can act as a Chief Compliance Officer, Advisor to the board, key managerial personal, counsel and change agent or a PCS. figure out your likes and dislikes and define it is monotonous or not.
