Hi, given the circumstances it is wise for you to decide what is an better option for you and your life ahead in career. Usually, seats in IITs or NITs matter a lot as there are many students who wish to go there but can't because of high competition. If you think deeply wasting a seat is not a good option. Hope this helps.
