Hello, this depends on various factors like number of students giving the exam and exam difficultly level. As percentile system is use for cutoff that means if your percentile comes below cutoff percentile then you can't get Jee advance exam . And if gets above then you can take Jee advance.

Upto 2018 , CBSE used to conduct JEE Mains , and at that time cut-off is used to be in form of marks . But now JEE Mains is being conducted by NTA , and the cut-off is in form of Percentile . The year 2020 JEE Mains category wise percentile is given below.

• CRL/General -- 90.37
• OBC-NCL -- 72.88
• SC -- 50.17
• ST -- 39.06
• PwD -- 0.06
• EWS -- 70.24
