l want to do eco honours from DU. Is it compulsory to include economics in BFS

Hi Sushmita

First of all the important criteria to pursue Economics (Hons) from DU is that you must have studied and passed Mathematics at the qualifying examination.
If you didn't study mathematics, then you are out of the race.

And the second part as per your question, different colleges of DU have different eligibility criteria for the Economics (Hons) course. If you are including the Economics then it's completely fine and if not, the there are chances of deduction of 2.5% from your 'Best Four'. So before applying to colleges, you must check the eligibility criteria set by the individual colleges as well.
