Masters of Science (MSc) in physics is a 2 year post graduate degree. The eligibility for reputed institutes for the same is as follows:

  1. A B.Sc degree (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Candidates should also have a minimum of 24 credits in the chosen specialisation (physics in this case) at the undergraduate level.
  2. Merit obtained in selected entrance exams:
  • DUET
  • CUCET
  • NITTET

Hello candidate.
You can go for M.Sc Physics if you have the subjects
Mathematical physics in any of three years of Graduation. M.Sc Physics in DU can be regarded as the best, after IITs.

There are many opportunities available in IT Field for Physics graduates. many IT companies such as Infosys, Wipro and CTS are recruiting Msc Physics graduates for software jobs. You can also get jobs in Energy Plants, Automobile Industry.
