Hi Koppisetti, I have a good news for you :) You will get admission in NIT Andhra Pradesh. But, you might have to wait patiently for it. You see, last year there were & rounds of admission followed by a special round in NIT Andhra Pradesh. Till the fifth round, OBC NCL ranks till around 10,500 were given admission to. However, in the sixth and seventh rounds, ranks till 12500-13000 were getting the option of Metallurgy and Bio-Technology. Here comes the interesting part, in the special round, all the core branches provided admissions to candidates having ranks upto 30,000 to 40,000 -while some departments allowing candidates upto 1 lakh rank. So, if you can wait till the special round, you would have the option of taking admission in all the branches at NIT Andhra Pradesh. Good Luck :)
