Hello Gagan!

Sri Venkateshwar College is one of the gems of DU. It has the best faculty of science in the whole of South Campus Colleges, well equipped labs, infrastructure, and nearby coaching centres for preparation of different competitive exams. The only drawback you suffer is that you will miss out on the North Campus experience, which is mostly about the environment. The North Campus colleges that compare to Venky in Physics hons. are Hindu, and Hansraj. I'd suggest you to go for Venky unless you get a seat in the Hindu College. You won't regret making the choice as I had friends who moved from Ramjas and Hansraj to Venky in their second year of study, and I never heard them complain.

Best wishes!
