My son is an OCI card holder, He is writing both jee main and Advanced..He is studying in India from his 4th std. Can he apply for both JOSAA and DASA counselling

your son is eligible for JOSAA counselling, but likely not eligible since he has studied in india for most of his education.

An OCI cardholder can apply for :
1. JoSAA Counselling (for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs) under the Open Category (no reservations).
2. IITs only if they clear JEE Advanced as a foreign national (not under the general category).
3. DASA (for NITs, IIITs and CFTIs) only if they have studied outside India for at least 2 years in the last 8 years including 11th & 12th.
Since your son has studied in India since 4th grade , he may not be eligible for DASA but can apply through JoSAA for NITs/IIITs .
