A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years.Originally every candidate has a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main. Candidates can appear twice for the entrance test in a year. So this is used in correlation with the original number of attempts, from 2019 onwards, JEE Main number of attempts in total will be six.

This year you will give your 3rd and ast attempt to jee exam. But according to the rules of JEE you can only appear for JEE mains in your third attempt for the exam. So even if you qualify for advanced you cannot attempt the advance exam this year that is in 2020.
