Choose NIT Silchar for CSE than any of the CSE or IT at NIT Jalandhar. NIT Silchar at least has a better reputation than NIT Jalandhar. NIT Silchar is country wide known and is a good institute to join. Don't get tangled with the facts of lower cutoff ranks. Research and think which suits you better.
