Dear student,
I would recommend you to appear for both of them. As ut would increase your chances of getting a good college. There are many colleges in Maharashtra that accept jee mains score. There is no harm in appearing for both so you should go for both of them. What if you are not able to perform your best in cet, so you should have jee mains by your side as a back up.

Hi Aspirant,

If you aspire for IIT or NITs in Mumbai then you should go for JEE since you can easily get admission to NITs,IIITs,GIFTs through JEE main exam. However if you are opting for private colleges or semi government colleges that take part in CET counselling then you can give CET and take admission on basis of that. However i would recommend you to give both the exams since it happens many time for students that they give both the exams and the best comes out to be in either JEE or in CET.

Hope for the best!!
