Should I apply for income certificate or ews certificate to get an admission in Delhi University. And if I should apply for ews, should I apply for ews for below 1 lakh income or below 8 lakh income? Please solve my query as there is not more than a week for du to start it's admission process.

Hello Aspirant,

See if you are seeking admission in Delhi University then you can of course get the advantage of your reservation category if you belongs to it. Like you have mentioned that you belongs to EWS category then definitely you should apply for the EWS certificate as soon as possible because for reservation categories cut-offs are lower as compared to the cut-offs of General category. Now whether your income is below 8 Lakh or 1 Lakh you will be considered under EWS until and unless you have any other reservation category like OBC/SC/ST.
