With this marks you will just get some lower branches in some newer NITs which are not stable yet. If you are from reservation category, then you might get some intermediate branches in some NITs. But for top branches and top NITs you need to score more than 180+ in JEE mains. So please try to score more than 180 to get top branches like CSE, EEE, mechanical etc in top NITs. Also you have time now. So prepare well from now onwards.

Dear Aspirant,
The admission into good college, NIT is also dependant upon the state from which you are giving the examination. For some states like Uttarakhand, these marks are sufficient to get into NIT-Uttarakhand(lower branches).
However, if you are aiming for good NITs like Jaipur, Allahabad, then these marks are not sufficient. Neither these marks are good for getting a college in OS(Other State).

To get into these good colleges you have to score around 160-180.
