Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy (SASTRA) University is deemed university and one of the top universities in Tamil Nadu. It has eight schools and two centers that offer undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs in various fields. The university has a dedicated placement cell that looks after the employment needs of the students. In the recent placement drive, Sastra University witnessed around more than 2400 students getting placed. A total of 90% of students got internship offers from top companies and organizations. TCS offered the highest number of job offers to the students with around 1400 offers. The average salary offered to the students was INR 9.5 LPA.
