My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
The research facilities are one of a kind and the lab facilities are fully equipped ..Some professors are really great in their field and have quite some experience..it is important in this uni that u prove that you are really interested in something and are willing to spend time and energy for it..it follows the policy of if you want it you have to grab it
The placements are quite good with a wide range of companies coming every year..there are several internships as well as training programmes that are open in this university that can help in securing job in them company as well..the placements in biotech are pretty average as the number of biotechnology companies are less compared to IT and other groups
It is a value for money.. I won't say that just generally it is present ..but as long as You are really interested and grab the opportunity and ready to work for it ..it is worth it
The campus life is well..nice when friends are around..don't expect the culturals to be like other colleges..this uni mainly focuses on studies
laboratories for bio tech and other related departments are very good and high tech here. Hostels are non ac full vegetarian, managable. wifi is 24/7 available. the environment is good for studying here.
being biotechnology student, syllabus is quite good. more gate syllabus oriented. actually this college is best for biology related departments. curriculum is also extensively updated whenever needed here.
this campus placements for bio is okay here, not much companies come for on campus, they are working on it. software and it company placements are more here, all can opt for it. few good companies also do approach for biotech here.
yea it is. being deemed university, it is actually lesser here. i pay around 75 to 80 k per sem here and for hostel it is only 16k per year, so it is much worthy here. the quality of education they are giving deserves this money purely.
for girls, it isnt so great. it is strict for girls like roll call time, allowances for outing and all. research facilities and outreach is good in campus, the labs are so good and proffesors help us so much.
for bio it is best one to choose par with iit
It's average college, having wifi facilities like high tech laboratory. Bajaj and 5 g labs are there. Each building of department have different own laboratories. Hostels are non ac, but can manage. Wifi is 24/7.
I'm aerospace engineering student. The syllabus is more oriented on aeronautics here. I feel the syllabus should be more on aerospace as name suggest and course should also be. But they are good in aeronautics perspective.
Placements for aerospace is nil literally. So don't rely on campus placements for core. But software and it placements are there people can opt for it irrespective of branches they are studying here in sastra.
The fees of sastra is quite comparatively less so it's good. They are spending more money by college management on startups so quite impressive. They are also funding for researches. But for aerospace it isn't the case.
For girls it is very strict no freedom. Dress code is compulsorily formal with shawl for girls and formal shirts only for boys. Skinny jeans and cargo pants and all are so prohibited. people here are of different fashion sense in accordance to this era.
If you people are interested in biotech, electronics related then it's very good college the best ones for all type of reasearch works top notch. But for other, it's not
There are 4 well built big research buildings and 1 seperate building for lab. All dept buildings have thier own labs. All well ventilated classrooms with smart board. 24/7 wifi is all parts of college.Bajaj lab, 5g technology lab available. it ahs all sports facilities and well built gyms with all equipemnts for both boys and girls. Hostels also have sports facilities and open gym. It is full veg food, taste is good in seniors hostel tahn 1st yrs hostel. we have a jet plane for aerospace students. seperate buildingd fpr each departments like school of mechanical, electrical, computing, etc.
Student Abroad programme in final sem is there. Im EIE student. Being a Deemed university, it has syllabus that gets modified every now and then(now, semicon related syllabus renewed) par to the technological developments. It is mainly focused on GATE syllabus as well. it does makes us ready for job in core. Nptel courses arent accepted as subordinate credits here in past few years.
Placements are very good in here. Many are software and IT companies approaching, all branches can opt for it. Core placements are less and the college is working on improving it now. Avearge is 9lpa. More than 90% get placed. TCS mass recruiter here.
I pay 75-80 k for each semester. Being deemed uni,it is very less. And it is absolutely worth it here for the quality of education and experience.Hostel 16-25k/year depends on no of people share room. single, double, 4 in 1 with or without bath attached available. Food 4k/month, vegetarian only. though there is no ac in any hostel, it is well ventilated, so deserves the money.
Campus is very good and well built. Maintained cleanliness. All games, gym, casuality, and stores facilities are there. staffs are so supportive.Located in busy highway, so safe. Strict girls hostel. Tidel park Thanjavur is 15mins drive from college. NIT-T and NIFTEM is 20 min drive from here, so intercollege connections are healthy.
This college is purely for Studious people who want to know more things and explore. There wont be any festival celeb or actors meetups often here. 3 fest/ sem is there. There is no managemnt kota here, only rank based on 12th mark or jee stream.Research facilities here are something that u cant get everything at one stop kinda. Most faculties are iit graduates.I can strongly suggest people who wanna contribute to development take this college. But the academic pressure is lil more,it trains us!!
the classrooms are spacious with wide windows and smart boards. the library is the most wonderful in the campus . computer labs are with air conditioned. there is one medical shop and hospital near to campus. canteen is available.
most of my faculty are highly qualified and they instill the zeal to study. the course curriculum was wonderful. it was a mix of both analytical and theoretical with applied knowledge. teachers are supportive to students.
the placement cell does a wonderful job. they give us daily updates through emails. around 70% students got placed in various companies with an good package. many students got an internship and few of my friends got paid internship in Novozymes with 10,000 per month.
our college provides Wi-Fi facility with good high-speed. our college provides facilities like full-fledged labs, computer labs, Botany labs, chemistry labs , hospital facility etc.. all south and north Indian food items served in canteen.
teachers in our college are highly educated and experienced. most of the lectures are PhD holders. some of them use projectors for teaching. they are helpful for students at any time, even after college.
placements in our college for UG and PG courses are good. many of the students got placements and internships from our college. highest package offered for IT students is 12LPA in companies like Accenture, TCS, and cognizant.
College infrastructure is top notch and it has everything we need to pursue our degree and alosw have a good labs facilities for practical purposes and the infrastructures are very goood and neat and clean
Academics are pretty good as it's the deemed university and alosw it's a reputable organization's to pursue your master degree for a best career , so the acedamics are very good in this university and so on.
Placements are also pretty good in this college as they bring several MNC companies for the campus drive in college and also it has a very good reputation for the university , so the placements are very good .
It has a very good value for the money you have spend on education in this college .
Campus life is also very very good and neat and cleans as for the big university like this .
It's best college to do your master degree.
Infrastructure is good, equiped with labs and other facilities, hostel facilities are also good with induvidual rooms being provided in the first year itself. We have a induvidual building for each school of engineering.
It is good. During 1st year we have to study 15 subjects with 7 subjects in a semester and 8 subjects in another semester. Most of the subjects being semi-theory and semi lab and the course load decreases after the 1st year
Top companies come to our college offering high packages though this placement season has been full of lay offs, the top companies which came include :- Paypal, Wells Fargo,Comcast. Offering very high package
The Course fee is 75000 per semester which is very low compared to other private colleges. Mess fee is around 5000 per month. Yes, It is worth the money.
Campus life is good if you know how to manage between the studies and your other things. There a lot of student clubs which conduct a lot of events all over the year, in it 3 events are major ones - Kuruksastra, Daksh, Colloseum
The class rooms are clean and Infrastructure is also updated. Lab facilities are also there for respective departments.Hostels too are good, rooms are given on a sharing basis and mess is present inside every Hostel.
Curriculum was of good quality and up to date with the developments in the field. The classes timings includes 9 am to 5 pm Monday to saturday. Classes are held routinely as per time table.Teachers and lab Attendant are extremely supportive. Additional classes as well are held for Special subjects.
Placements are good. Placements Cell has been formed in college which consists of talented staff who takes care of our placements. The last year placements was approximately 45-60 Percent of batch and packages ranges from 4-6 lpa on knowledge of different skills.. highest package is 13 lpa.
The infrastructure is defined and standard each department having each building and blocks A typical University structural was set. Each department having a labs, work shops , auditoriums, and well established hostel and grounds.
Each department having its own Dean and industry experienced staff . They left us in a great way.the staffs handling course is definitely a art here as everyone having a vast experience so it was quite easy for them to acknowledge .
Comparatively more placement offers bagged by this university in the surrounding in all departments . Every sector select multiple candidates from here, And they specify that these qualities only avails in this university.
There is no management quota only merit basis and economically a best option
Vast and diverse environment which get us more information about things
With an AIR of 11,300 in CLAT and your excellent predicted score of 580+/600 in your 12th boards , you have a good chance of getting admission to SASTRA University for the BA LLB program, though admission is not solely based on CLAT. SASTRA University has its own admissions process for the BA LLB program, which may include a merit-based selection (based on your board marks) and CLAT scores as well. Since you're a resident of Trichy , you may also be eligible for local preference in some cases, which could further increase your chances. It’s advisable to check the official SASTRA University admission guidelines to confirm if your CLAT rank and board marks meet their cutoff for this year, and ensure you apply on time.
