The placements are quite good with a wide range of companies coming every year..there are several internships as well as training programmes that are open in this university that can help in securing job in them company as well..the placements in biotech are pretty average as the number of biotechnology companies are less compared to IT and other groups

Stream 2 - based on only board marks. Your score is reasonable, and you do have good chances in some of the branches - not the top branches like CSE as they are competitive. I would suggest you to apply under both streams.

With your 8k rank in TS EAMCET in the General category you will probably get into an average state government college i.e. OU or JNTU (or probably a top regional college), which have less fees and probably worthy student competition (referred as Peer value) than SASTRA University.
