Engineering is all about using science for developing some technology which will provide human beings a better way of living. For example, Civil Engineering deals with the construction of Buildings, Over-bridges, Skywalks etc. Mechanical Engineering works in the field of building machine which will make the earth a better place. There are other branches as well which contributes for the betterment of the humankind in terms of knowledge & lifestyle.

So if you be a Engineer you will be in the run to build things and to main things so that you can make the lifestyle better. Also this fields are highly interdisciplinary, so you will be able to do a broad range of things starting from Healthcare to space science.
