Hello Aspirant,
In the Madhya Pradesh state counselling (DTE MP) for engineering admissions, Security Deposit Amounts depending on the type of institution are:
This is a refundable security deposit, which will be refunded as per the counselling procedure. Candidates should ensure they are paying the right amount while registering based on their choice of institution.
In Madhya Pradesh NEET UG counselling, the security deposit amount is different for government and private colleges. If you're applying for government medical or dental colleges, the refundable security deposit is 10,000. For private colleges, the security deposit is higher—1,00,000 for Indian candidates and around 2,00,000 for NRI quota seats.
This amount has to be paid before seat allotment, usually after registration and during choice filling. If you get a seat and don’t join or withdraw after allotment in later rounds, the deposit may be forfeited. So yes, the amount is not the same and depends on the type of institution you’re applying to.
