Hello t sandeep,
Neet is the sole entrance test for admission to MBBS and other medical and paramedical courses in India. The exam is organised by the National Testing Agency.
Admissions through NEET are basically categorised in two types of quota i.e., All India Quota (AIQ) and State Level Quota. All India Quota comprises 15 per cent of the overall seats and the rest of the 85 per cent are filled under state-level quota.
As per your question, you have got 550 marks in neet which is a very good score, you can get government MBBS seat under state quota very easily. As you belong to obc-ncl category so its quite possible to predict about AIQ but can't promise about it as cut-off changes year to year.

Hope this will help you a lot,
Thank you.
Hello student,
You have not mentioned which state you are in need of. When comparing the results of previous years, a score of 550 or above remained to be a safe zone for the OBC category under the All India quota. Thus you do have chances of getting a seat in the government medical colleges. But scores and ranks vary each year with toughness of the exam and availability of seats. However you can predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the given link
