For the candidates appeared in JEE Main exam. The qualifying marks is the cut off marks that the candidate must score in order to participate in the centralized counseling conducted by JOSAA . The qualifying marks for GEN category (common rank list) students is 81, for OBC-NCL it is 49, for SC 32, 31 for ST and 1 for PWD candidates.

Dear Raja,

According, to 2017 IIT JEE cut off was around 145 for general category.

 

JEE Advanced maximum marks are not defined. So, it is difficult to predict cut off marks. 

 

Maximum Marks vary every year like below:

 

2017- 366

2016- 372

2015 - 504

2014 - 360

 

You should score more than 50% marks to get good branch in Top IITs.
