KGMU BSc Nursing Entrance Exam is conducted every year by King George Medical University for admissions to its Nursing courses. The exam is a gateway for admissions to the Undergraduate Nursing programmes offered at King George Medical University. 

General Educational Qualifications

The selection of the candidates will be strictly based on the merit of the entrance examination and preference of the college given by the candidate.

Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2018.

Minimum qualifications for admission are as per latest INC regulation.

a)      10+2 with 45% marks in science (PCBE) from any recognized board. (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English)

b)      Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by central government having Science subjects and English only.

c)       5% of total marks is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.

d)      Any other reservation as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy.

e)      Reservation shall be included in the seats sanctioned and not above it.

Both males and females are eligible for admissions to all the affiliated colleges except for Vivekanand College of Nursing, Sahara College of Nursing and BCM College of Nursing, Khairabad, Sitapur. These colleges have seats for female candidates only.

Candidates must be medically fit in order to seek admission. Additional medical checkup shall be conducted before admission (the candidates who are in the merit list are required to submit certificate of physical fitness from registered medical practioner.
