Hello dear aspirant
The admission process of Delhi University has started from 30th May. Now, coming to your query
The admission in Delhi university depends on several factors. First of all what matters for your admission in DU is aggregate percentage of Best four subjects. So a total of  78.8% does not imply anything about admission chances, your BFS would tell your chances of getting admission in Delhi university.
There are different cutoffs for different courses, more popular courses has higher cutoffs whereas courses like Hindi Hons. and B. Sc physical science has low cutoffs.
Also, your category determines the college you get.
If you belong to general category, then an overall percentage of 78.8%taking the BFS to be approximately same, you have less chances of getting admission in Delhi university. You would get admission in less popular courses like Hindi Hons. and Sanskrit Honors.

Hope it works.
It would be better if you can notify us about your BFS percentage and category and the course you want to pursue.
All the best.

Every college gives this course but the cut offs differ. So it's depend on your reserve category under which you fell.
