First of all you should decide in which field you are most interested in either EC or production Engineering. As EC deals with electronic and there is need for coding in this. EC branch has a large scope in future you can crack a good placement in Computer Science company also if you work hard on communication and coding skills. EC also offer government jobs . It's placement is very good it is ranked after Cs ,It branches.

While in production Engineering you learn manufacturing and management skills . It is also a good branch but there are not so many companies like in EC . So I would recommend you to take Ece in Anna University or if you are interested in management and machine you can take up production Engineering.
