48 MonthsThe Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year, full-time programme with modern mechanical engineering at its core. The programme builds a foundation in manufacturing, machine design, and an opportunity to engage with interdisciplinary areas such as mechatronics (mechanical systems with embedded electronics). With project-based learning at the nucleus, our students graduate ready to transform the workplace. The programme is offered by the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Eligibility Criteria
Students who complete Class XII or its equivalent examination by June are eligible to apply.
JEE (Main) is compulsorily required
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics compulsory
English as a 1st / 2nd Language
Admission Details
67% of seats are filled directly through an online application on the Ahmedabad University Admissions portal, based on Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) results or any state level Engineering Entrance Exam held in 2024
33% of seats are allocated through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), a committee set up by the Government of Gujarat.
